M.A.P. is Modified Atmosphere Packaging, also known as gas flushing, protective atmosphere packaging or modified oxygen packaging. MAP is a technology that has been developed to ensure that ambient air concentrations be modified to maintain packaged food products fresh and attractive for the duration of the projected shelf life.
MAP是指气调包装技术。又称之为气体包装或替换氧气保鲜包装技术。MAP是一种通过采用更换包装内部气体浓度环境,对食品包装进行改良,使得食品在预计的保质期内保持新鲜与吸引力的一种技术。
Modifying the atmosphere of a package provides fresh quality and minimally processed packaged food products to ensure a visual, textural and nutritional appeal. Controlling the internal environment of the packaged food product enables food packaging to provide an extended shelf life without requiring additional chemicals, preservatives or stabilizers.
更换包装内部的气体浓度环境,可以提供新鲜优质,且使用少的加工程序的包装食品。确保在视觉、质感和营养上有足够的吸引力。控制包装食品内部气体环境,来对食品提供一个更长保质期的包装,而无需使用额外的化学品,防腐剂或稳定剂等。
Modified Atmosphere Packaging can be a blend of pure oxygen, carbon dioxide and nitrogen within a hermetically sealed package. Controlling this gaseous mixture helps to meet the specific respiration needs for each packaged food product, minimizing product degradation.
气调包装指可以将纯氧、氮气、二氧化碳的混合气体密封在包装内,根据每种包装食品的呼吸需要,选择控制不同浓度比例,以更好的减小产品的降解。
By altering the partial pressure of the existing headspace gas mixture, in a hermetically sealed package, to a specified gas concentration, will help preserve and extend the product’s shelf life.
通过改变现有顶空混合气体的成分,在密封的包装内,达到适合的混合气体浓度,这将有助于保持和延长产品的保质期。
If the package is not hermetically sealed (does not allow air to freely enter the package’s internal environment) decreasing the MAP gas efficiency) then, oxygen and relative humidity (RH) can initiate product degradation. Therefore, controlling the storage conditions throughout the supply chain is crucial for obtaining high quality product to the end-user.
如果包装不是密封性包装(不允许空气的进入但会降低MAP的气体效率),那么氧气和相对湿度将会导致产品的开始降解。因此,控制整个供应链的存储条件对终用户获得高质量产品至关重要。
